In a large saucepan, take 8 cups of water and boil them over high heat. Add the pearls and stir gently until they begin to float to the top. Lower down the heat and cook for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and the cover. Let this dish or pan sit for another 20 minutes.
Drain pearls and transfer them to a small bowl.
Fully coat them with maple syrup for that authentic taste. Let it rest for five minutes.
Put these pearls in three glasses. Make sure it is done at an equal level.
Now for the plain bubble tea recipe, add iced tea and lemon slices in the glass and your plain boba tea is ready! For the almond milk boba tea recipe, add almond milk, tea and ice cubes in the glass. The sugar comes naturally with the tapioca soaked in the maple syrup.
For the mango or strawberry smoothie, add fruits, milk, maple syrup and ice in a blender. Keep blending it until you get your desired consistency. Pour this in a glass and it is ready to be devoured!
