How To Make Infused Olive Oil

Oil infusions make delicious cooking a snap! Add infused oils in place of plain oils for cooking or drizzle over salad. By swapping out plain oils for olive oil though, you are actually consuming a good amount of omega-3 fatty acids that not only protect your cardiovascular system, they provide many other health benefits as well. Today’s post is all about simple rosemary infused olive oil recipe that I use for making Asian dishes.

  • 500 ml olive oil (check vegan status) or any oil of your choice
  • 3 tbsp dry red chili flakes
  • 2 tbsp dried rosemary leaves


  • Heat oil in a large saucepan. Once warm, about 2-4 minutes, add red chili flakes and rosemary. Stir to combine and switch off the flame. Once cooled, pour it carefully into a dry glass container. Store and use as required.
